Gotta run as all heck broke loose today but some stuff you might want to know..

1. There's been a pretty confident news release that a resetter (not a redsetter yet) will be available for the CLI-526/PGI-525.. but NOT the 225/226 equivalents for a while (it's on the cards for some months later apparently).
ETA is April time but take that with a pinch of salt..

2. I've figured out a potential way to use the SquEasyFill bottle approach with these cartridges, using a method suggested by one of my customers (who's also on here I believe). It's a bit involved trying to explain it in text only but I'll be playing with it next week and posting up some pictures and explanation then.

3. I never knew there was so much to know about Inducted Heat Seals... Not important to you but I felt the need to share.. My brain is too full with all the details... *eep*

My impression is that the capacity of these cartridges is pretty low .. perhaps only half that of a CLI-8 that I'm familiar with. That really diminishes my interest level in such a printer, as you'd be interrupted for refills all that more often when doing photos.

But I suppose if that is the printer you have, it would be that much more economically advantageous to refill. I doubt if the price of the cart is proportional to the amount of ink in it.

However, it is possible that the ink formulation and/or density might be different, so a cart with half the ink might do more that half the number of photos.
