Neil I'm trying out the G&G carts you highly recommended but I'm having mixed results. First let me say I'm using a Canon ip5000 and I am by no means knowledgeable about how colors should look after printing a photo but merely comparing how they look when put side by side with pictures printed with Canon OEM carts which is mainly what I've used for the last two years.
The photo paper I'm using is 4x6 perforated Canon Photo Paper Pro at the Standard setting. I like to use perforated photo paper because of ease of use.
Anyway using the G&G carts with Photo Paper Pro I'm getting a slight greenish tinge on my photos compared to the same pictures printed with Canon OEM carts. I was wondering if you had ever tried the G&G carts with the Photo Paper Pro and if you had ended up with the same results? Could you recommend a different setting or settings on my printer to get rid of this slight greenish tinge?
I also should mention I've tried HC carts with Photo Paper Pro and I do not get a greenish tinge but maybe a more yellowish tinge compared to Canon OEM carts but it is still plenty acceptable. I really just don't enjoy refilling carts so I would really like to be able use the G&G carts for all my printing in the future if you can get me straightened out. I'm willing to use different brand photo paper if it will allow me to use the G&G carts as long as I can get glossy perforated 4x6 and 5x7 sheets. Thanks!
Mike
