This question is always asked,
How I know if my Pigment cartridge is clean enough after purging it's looks fairly black inside.
Answer
When the water coming out of your cartridge is nice and clear and clean.
The sponge inside will however not get completely clean like your other cartridges do
and will look similar to the picture below.
When you need to dry you cartridge you can use ghwellsjr wicking method link here..

Also another tip is to put a screw directly under the cartridge outlet hole as shown in picture
(Illustration purpose only) it will assist greatly in the drying time of the sponge.
You can use this method to dry your cartridge quite quickly, which was submitted by Nifty member lin awhile ago.
