Hey guys,

Brand new, just found this forum searching for some answers - nice helpful community here!

I have a MP810 and the compatible Rihac system. Had it for about 8 months or so. Got it installed, and once I set the ink colors in the driver to remove the cast i started out with, it was printing like a champ.

A couple of days ago, my wife tried printing a photo, and it had a magenta cast to it. I hadn't changed any driver settings or anything. I performed a nozzle test and got some banding and poor results, so I went through about 3-4 regular cleanings and a couple of deep ones. Continued to have poor results, although it got SLIGHTLY better. I took the printhead out and flushed it with warm water, and put it back in. Ran a nozzle test and it came out clean. Unfortunately, the magenta cast is even more severe than it was before.

I dont know if this is a printhead, printer motherboard or other hardware issue. It also seems my red ink has been depleted quite a bit more than my other inks - don't know if that is due to types of photo I had printed before or some potential leaking.

Anyone got a good method or suggestions of things to try? places to start?
Thanks in advance!

Epson, Canon, HP... A "few"
First port of call would be Rihac themselves as Sam and the team will doubtless have some troubleshooting docs on this that will help nail it down.

My guess would be something relating to the ink either clogging, possibly due to algae build up but that's a wild assed guess... As I said, drop Rihac a line, I can't think of any reason they wouldn't be able or willing to help.
