I have a Canon Pixma MP610 and am having a lot of problems with the cartrides or print head or maybe both. I bought a set of refillable cartridges a year ago from ink products.com with the top rubber plug. At first I was using the original Canon CLI-8 cartridges mixed with some of these refillable cartridges untill I noticed the ink was finally not coming out properly from my remaining two originals. I replaced them with the refillables and things have been a nightmare. I noticed that the new black and Cyan refillable seemed to allow ink to flow out a little too easily at the output, and that the yellow cartridge had green in the sponge and magenta. I flused out the cartridges with hot water but the sponges all had a stain left. I also ran hot water through the head to clean out the ink and then soaked it in alcohol. I let the cartridges dry out for two days and then refilled them. At first I could barely get any ink out and the colors were all off. I printed a lot of test pattern and now I see colored lines going through my purge pattern. Can someone give me an idea how to fix the issue before I go completely nuts. I am using image specialist ink. I scanned pictures but do not know how to put them in post. --thanks, Marc
