After installing recently purchased OA100 cartridges from Overstock.com I started experiencing severe clogging and heavy ink usage.

Inspection of the cartridges revealed a design change of some with the vent opening, the offending cartridges having a simple hole to the sponge compartment in lieu of the angular pathway I'm
familiar with that disappears under the tape.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I having a problem from a different source?

Would intermixing the two differently configued cartridges cause this type of problem?

Thanks for your help

t is not the physical layout of the vent, it is the ink that's not working. The ink is probably cooked inside the nozzles from soup into cake. OA100 was said to be distributed by G&G. It is one of most widely sold cheap carts in the market. Yet it is one reportedly having problems.
