I was able to obtain the latest pigment ink set from the german manufacturer OCP for the Epson K3 Vivid Magenta printers (Epson R2880, R3000 and Pro 3880 and larger LFP's). Now I am still waiting for the extra refillable cartridges to put the ink in for the review. I hope to commence testing in a few weeks time.

I tried Octopus-office.de, but they only had the old version without vivid Magenta and it was pretty good, despite the significant amount of metamerism on semigloss papers and the rather poor rendition of the bright reds, blues and purples (due to the hue of the magenta towards red instead of magenta).

All of them! LOL
Pharmacist, last year some time, my friend B Petruska ( FussyBob ) was able to get a liter of each LVM and VM / K3 OCM
through the USA distributor Rjettek. He sent me 75ml orf each for me to test on my R2880 as I already had about 750ml each of the regular Non Vidid K3 colors.
PM me if want my details.
I will not post anything until after you are done with your testing.

Hi CLS,

What is your experience with your the inks from Printbox ? is there a difference between gloss in OCP versus Printbox, gamut, metamerism ? I would like you to share your experience with us.

the printbox ink is shit compared by price and by quality, its smells and the blacks are not as satisfactory as the ocp or oem epson ones...
Never going this road down again. blacks have high metamerism, gamut is fine but the vivid and vivid light magenta is no where near the oems so icc profiling is mandatory... there is zero service from mr froehlich how runs the company, he is just an eager beaver salesman who wants to cut out the best profit marigin for himself BUT infact printbox sells good and cheap high quality roll paper media up to 42" rolls
1Litre ink sell for about 65 but with the ebays "best offer" option they go down to 55 per litre still to expensive compared to ocp inks

I can send you a sample of 100ml each at cost if you are interesed?

Hi CLS,

Thanks for the feedback. I had a similar experience long time ago with another refill company and the inks were washed out and had bad flow.. The most difficult colour to be formulated seems to be the magenta and light magenta, as I have discovered using so much pigment based K3 (vivid) compatible refill inks. It either lacks gamut and/or lack of glossiness.
