Need complete software and drivers for MX860 printer

I just inherited a mx860 printer without the installation disc. I have been to the canon website support section to try and download the required info. But there are several downloads shown and not much help as to which ones I need.Ive tried a couple of them with no sucess. I want to run this printer on a Win xp computer wirelessly and also 2 other pcs one is vista and the other is win 7. Can someone me tell what downloads I need to get and what order do I need to install them. Or is there a way I can just download the whole disc that came with the computer so I can just put it in the drive and install just like it was a new printer.

I don't have the MX860, but the Canon web site page for this printer lists complete instructions for setting this wireless device (see "Wireless Help" section) as well as the drivers/software needed (see "Drivers & Software" section).

The PDF's in the Wireless Help section appear to explain what you require, including initial setup with the first computer and then instructions for subsequent computer setups. There are drivers for all the Operating Systems you listed.

Thanx for the quick reply. I did as you suggested and after downloading all the different files I was able to find which ones I really needed to install. My only additional comment here is why cant Canon supply a way to make up a complete disc just like what came with the newly purchased product. Then all I would have had to do was put the disc in and run it. The reason Im making these comments is I hope but I dont know if someone from Canon monitors this site, maybe this will some sense to them.

Your best bet is to contact Canon Sales or Support with your request for a complete installation disk. Or, search on the internet for someone who might have uploaded it to share. Be happy Canon has those nice cartoon help PDF's. They really tried to simplify things for people, and did from my cursory look.
