I need some advice on using empty ink refillable cartridges

They seem to be messy to refill!

1. Fitting onto the orange thing before unpulling the plug seemed to be impossible!
I had to forefully hold in place and painfully unplug

2. The pulling out the plug and putting back was a pain was well - and never failed to be messy!

Then I saw a video on YouTube, there was a video that was spoken in Chinese

They showed refilling using the same cartridges
They never bothered unplugging! They just stuck a needle in
Is this what I should do??

Another video I saw said that you could refill while the cartridges where inside the printer
I've tried this and it's impossible!! I cant get the ink to go in! There seems to be some sort of vacuum or something?

ANY advice on any of the above would be great

Thanks

I have noticed a couple of your threads covering the same problem (dead print head) and the lightly cause.
You can refill a single OEM cartridge as many times as you like successfully, there are no time limits on them.
On using a CISS on a Canon printer, well you could have a look at an earlier thread I wrote on that below..

To make it easier on yourself and on your printer the answer is yes.
When you use a resetter with OEM cartridges and quality inks you can print away without worrying about
the cost of replacing you cartridges every time they empty.
Happy printing.. :)

1. where should i buy ink resetters? I've seen on ebay for about 25 (and as cheap as 15) - is the better place to buy?

2. quality ink?? how do i know what's quality and what isn't? i shop a lot on ebay, i don't remember seeing many 'quality' branded listings? what should i be searching for?

Just search this forum.

A few quality ink suppliers are:
Inksupply.com
Hobbicolors on eBay
Precisioncolors.com
Octoinkjet in the UK
OCP ink from rjettek

Probably a few others that I forgot, but those are all trusted sellers.
