I have an error message saying I have a paper jam, but I have removed all the paper. I got on the phone with Canon and went through several steps with him, but was not able to get rid of the message. He says I'll have to take it in for service. Has anybody been able to fix this on their own? I'm trying to figure out how to take the thing apart to see if I have a small piece of paper stuck in there that I cannot see.

Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Yep, it's possible a small piece of paper or any other stuff to be stuck inside the printer. Do you print normally when you put a whole piece of paper?

Normally I use the front tray, with whole pieces of paper. Very typical for this printer to get jammed with crinkled paper.

The paper path is straighter using the rear feeder. The paper must do a 180 degree turn out of the front feeder. My MP600 feeds much more reliabley from the rear feeder.
