Hi all,

Has anyone come across a small wi-fi printer? I've been struggling to find one but can't believe there's not one out there. I don't need an all-in-one. There's not a lot of storage space in my flat so I've had my printer sitting on the lounge floor for the past two years. So now I want something small to fit on a shelf and wi-fi as the shelf is too far from the PC to run a cable to it.

Would be nice if it can do decent photos. High PPM isn't essential.

Something like the Canon IP100 would be a good size, just a shame if only has bluetooth :(

Here's hoping someone out there knows of such a printer.

Small is a relative term.

Canon printers that have native wifi include the IP4000R, IP5200R, MP800R, MP620, and the MP980. The last two are current models and readily available, while the others would require searching (Craig's List for instance).

If you live outside the USA, Canon model numbers may be different and there may be more selection. Also, other printer manufacturers make wifi-capable printers. Google is your friend.

There is always the option of an aftermarket wifi kit to a printer, though I am not familiar enough with them. Maybe some other members can help with that.

I have two WiFi printers, and Epson Artisan 700 for photos/dvds and HP Officejet H470wbt Mobile Printer with a Wifi usb stick.

The Artisan 700 prints a decent photo, Wifi us easy to setup via ethernet. (I really like this printer)

The HP is small and with the optional leather case, looks good on the entertainment center. but is noisy durning paper pickup.

Another way, just add a IOGEAR Wifi usb print server to what ever printer you buy... (I have used these before a they work)

Hope this helps
