I bought some LD Brand cartidges for my i960 printer from Amazon, item BCI6PM. I'm new so I can't post a link to them :-(
I noticed the portion that goes into the print head, isn't round. It is oval shaped. The other compatible carts I used had round portions that went around the nozzle screens in the head. Also they have 4 compartments in them, an ink area a small chamber before the foam filled area, then another hollow type chamber after the foam chamber.
Has anyone tried these? Did they work?

Thanks

Most of us here discuss re-filling of carts. We strongly discourage the use of non-OEM (non-Canon) carts for refilling. Freshly filled compatibles may work fine, but the ink within them is of unknown quality. If you refill with a known product, the chances of repeated success is better assured. It does appear the INK CAPACITY of the carts you describe are greater than Canon's, which could be an advantage....

If youre going to use compatible cartridges instead of OEMs you should try to get the ones
that are more suitable for your printer. (Round outlets)

If the proper BCI-6s are not available on the site where you get your carts from then
compatible CLI-8 carts would be a better bet than ones with the oval outlets.

I would also go alone with turbguys advice on not attempting to refill these 3rd party carts.
