- All of them! LOL
I picked up a can of this protectant spray at the local J.C. Moore Craft store from their Art Dept.
I sprayed one of the B&Ws that I printed on Canon Pro Luster Paper on the PRO-100.
Two quick passes across and up and down. Let it dry and though this should really be done preferably outside or with plenty of ventilation, it produced a gorgeous finish on this paper.
Dried to the touch within 20 minutes.
Now let see how it protects this print from fading.
I have a duplicate without the Spray UV-Resistant Clear Gloss.
Though I am not into accelerated fade testing I will tape both of them to my window.
Though it doesn't really get any direct sunlight it definitely gets plenty of light. Does a glass window by itself will block some UV?
I've always been a bit against using sprays as I did not think I could apply an even enough coat.
But this was very easy and the overall surface turned out to be extremely even and smooth.
I will spray a canvas print I did a few weeks ago on Matte Canvas and see what it takes to put a medium gloss on it.
I will leave the two B&Ws on luster on the window till Christmas then check and report what happens.
I also have a third print with no coating inside a print box away from all light.
I will do the same with a set of color prints.
They also have a matte spray.
