Ok well I just received my new OEM Canon i9900 print head and I don't want it to junk it anytime soon. How do you maintain a Canon i9900 print head to ensure longevity and consistency in printing? BTW, I am using INKGRABBER and G&G generic inks. I also keep my printer on 24/7.
I also have a couple of other questions... Why is it that there are 10 slits at the bottom of the printer head when there are only 8 ink tanks? Also, I read somewhere that if you try to print something when an ink tank is empty that it burns out the ink jet, is that true? Thanks.
