Hi,
I've started taking photos about half a year ago, and just recently got into printing through the purchase of a Canon ip8750. The printer was quite heavily used and had a small issue with printing, but it was cheap: £50 after shipping. I have some aspirations of starting a little art business, and I figured I'd give this a go and see if it leads anywhere.
Long story short with the printer. I've been using some affordable paper/ 3rd party ink, while I was troubleshooting. I've been pretty happy with my prints lately, and agreed to print a friends photo for £10. So I bought some OEM ink, which I was planning on anyway, once I felt comfortable.
I got into this looking for a creative side-hustle, and have been pleasantly surprised at becoming quite enamoured with printing. I enjoy all aspects, from fiddling with settings, to the abilities it affords me creatively, to the way it's informed my view on photos and their purpose.
