Hi everyone,

I got that printer offered, produced "blurred" prints. Never had that before, any idea what could be the problem and if it can be fixed easily?

Thanks!

It's really hard to see what you are referring to in the scan but the most important thing to do first is a nozzle check. Can you upload that? And crop your image so that it shows up with as much resolution as possible. It's best to save the scanned image as a .png rather than a .jpg.

ghwellsjr, thanks for you reply. That was the only scan I have at hand, the seller sent it to me "as is". I was just wondering if the blurred blue looks familiar to anyone... I really don't have any glue what could cause that... Probably some mechanical defect....

It could just be the paper rubbing on the bottom of a dirty print head.. :|

It looks to me like that image is from a head alignment process in which many of the blocks are blurred and you're supposed to pick out the best one, but I can't tell for sure. It may be that there is nothing wrong with the printer. Is the seller claiming that it has a bluring problem or are you just concluding that from the image?

That's my question too. It could be that the scan resolution was too low or just a bad scan altogether.
