Anyone using Inkjetfly latest pigment inkset which has both vivid magenta and vivid light magenta?
Comments would be most welcome.

I don't get what can make a light magenta vivid. But otherwise I don't see any reason that makes their products better. If perhaps they have really good customer service I'd understand but the 15% restocking fee doesn't reassure me much especially when their CIS systems cost so much. Sounds like they're going to give you a hard time returning their products basically.

Also I can see that they use ARC chips. ARC chips don't work very well with the newer Epson's. With my Artisan 50 it was a real hassle to use the ARC chips because when one color ran out you had to remove all the cartridges press the ink button and let the printer try to prime without cartridges then reinstall the cartridges, let it prime. And after all that you just got one color reset. Repeat this process for all 6 colors when it runs out. So if I ordered from them will they guarantee their product will work, cause if it doesn't the restocking fee is just insult to my injury. That's a risk I wouldn't want to take with such an expensive product that the company selling it has no idea if it works or not. At least the $35 ebay CIS I got was not big deal when I found out it doesn't work cause of it's ARC chips, easy enough I now clipped a cartridge off it and fill it with windex to use as a cleaning cartridge.

I've just read through their very sparse forum and yup it confirms my beliefs that people are having trouble with their ARC chips same as I have. It usually will read fine when you first install it, though some have trouble out of the box, but when you run the cartridge out it won't reset itself. Seems like leo, the guy who runs the forum and the website is doing as much damage control as possible with sending out replacement chips and giving excuses why people's nozzles are clogging, offering discounts. This doesn't solve the fundamental problem that he is selling basically the same stuff everyone else is selling on ebay for much less than half the price. And people are having the same problem trying to get their CIS to work right. He really should have sold only dye based systems as his cheaper pigment inks seem to clog heads.

@johnpeeay: actually you are using an R2400, so using vivid magenta ink will NOT work. The vivid inks are thicker and can only be used on the Epson Pro 3880 and the R2880 with modified printhead to cope these thicker magenta inks. So I would stick with your current inkset.

thanks Pharmacist, thats the information I was looking for, I did not know that the vivid inks were thicker and hence much more likely to cause problems on the R2400. Now what about a recommendation for a supplier of refillable cartridges for the R2400 - Inkjetcarts US any good? or Precisioncolors? I need to buy ink and cartridges soon, I am on the last set of Epson ink tanks which I bought with my R2400 - purchased on Ebay.
Many thanks for the information.
