Ink syringe?

Does any one sell a 5 or 10 cc ink syringe that has a chemical resistant plunger?

The rubber plungers start swelling after a few uses to the point that they will no longer fit in the tube.

I've never had that problem - isn't ink water based?

I've got syringes from MIS that are over 5 years old and still in perfect condition. I can't imagine what in the ink could cause swelling of the seals without causing problems in the printer.

I would suspect that the plungers are swelling because of the chlorene in my water.

Guess I am the only one having this problem.

No... I have no chlorine in my water, and I have to throw away the syringes after a few uses...

You could buy Inktec ink in the small size. It comes in a wide syringe, ready to attach a needle and start squirting. It also has the advantage that the unused ink won't get concentrated from exposure to air in the top of the container.
