ink drying time on 300gsm card

Hi,
I printed text and small image on multipaper 300gsm card and after a week i thought it would be fully dry, but it smudged a little.
Any advice on how i can get it dry to touch. Am i using wrong type of card, I printed it on a canon ip4850.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

The card is indeed the wrong type for the ink that you are using.
Next time you try a print tell the printer that it is matte photo paper and
then after five minutes try the smudge test again..
