I'm not sure of the background to the current Ilford paper, but the prices are interesting.

I love that on the link to photopaperdirect.c*m they state: "Ilford has been associated with digital imaging since 1879" Digital? In 1879?

Yes, I noticed that, quite amusing, I also wonder what association there is with Ilford, in view of the company history, I thought they had stopped producing.

I have 450 A3's Smooth Pearl 300g in stock from the closed Swiss factory (at 10cent a page ).

I wonder if there has ever been a link with Sihl? The papers are very similar and Sihl (the company) used to be in Switzerland. Named after the river Sihl near Zurich, where the paper mill was originally sited.

The Ilford factory is in Marly near Fribourg

Was in liquidation in April last year, but probably someone bought the patents and machinery, seems the papers are available again.
