I need help printing a PDF.

I have a black and white PDF that has sections with gray background with black text on it.
Using an iP4000 with Win XP to print but the gray background is so dark I cannot see the black text inside.

Is there any way to not print the gray background or at least make it lighter?

Thanks
Ron

Did you try to choose: print and then on the left lower side the button: advanced (settings) and check the "colour correction for wrongly coloured background" Just try to print the page with that gray/black problem.

With this set up when I click on the Advanced, lower left corner, an Advanced Print Setup window pops up but the only option it offers is to Print As Image.

Up at the top Right I can click on Properties, which leads to Main, Page Setup, Stamp/Background, Effects, Profiles, and Maintenance.

Did you download the latest version of Adobe Reader ? I use Adobe Reader 8.1.5 and this version can correct for wrongly coloured background (or something similar in English, because I use the dutch version of it).
