HP Photosmart C6380 using massive amounts of ink.

From the day it was new the most pages I have gotten out of my printer is about 5- 10 pages. And that is on the normal print setting with plain paper. Hp of course could care less that it never worked right since it is now out of warranty. I looked inside and it is a little messy in the area where the cartridges park but not terrible. There was a little splatter on the back wall. Is there something I can do to repair this

My advice is dont bother trying to get it repaired, just dump it and save yourself a lot of money on ink. There are a lot of good printers out there that cost a lot less to run than that HP.

Yah Im looking pretty hard at a Brother Color laser. Ive got a Canon Phax phone L80 with no Win 7 drivers , an HP photosmart 1215 with no drivers, an HP 4600 scanner that has never worked, and this all in one unit. So buying the expensive name brands is not getting me any more use than the lesser brands would. The world has become a place of take the money and run and customer service has gone out the window.
