I’ve been recording the amount of my junk mail that had landed in my spam folder since 07, back then it was enormous and relentless, all because my address book had been comprised by a work colleague that had his laptop stolen.

Since then we have employed Norton security to weed out the junk and send it to the spam folder instead of my in box, and over the years we’ve gotten better at it and have only had one in 18 months..

I update the printed sheet every couple of months..

Try using gmail. It seems really great at weeding out spam, and "unsubscribing" via a single click.

I taught my days of annoying spam were just about over, but then I had to go and open my big Feckin mouth, because in the last 3 weeks I have received 3 spam mail from the same guy..

Yup, I filter all my email, even through my non-gmail accounts, through gmail for their awesome spam filtering.

I used to try to do it all through Bayesian filtering, etc., but it was too hard. Gmail is just expert at it.
