Canon MG 5350
I'm using a Canon MG5350 which is giving trouble and I want to replace it. I need one that has the capability of paper feed from a stand up tray at the rear so that I can print heavy weight card of varying sizes. Canon appear to not make this type any more, some of their models offer two cassettes but I find that the heavy card will not bend properly as it goes through the printer. Any suggestions?

Hi @MervH and welcome, you’ve got diddly chance of getting a small desktop printer with top paper feed tray anymore, if you chose Canon for easy refilling then it’s going to have to be one of their A3 printers.

You could Choose Epson, say the stylus 1500 or SC P400 anything below that won’t have a top paper feeder, the bad news is all of the above printer are expensive, the only other alternative is a second hand purchase.

All of todays new small printer are reasonably cheap to purchase but are very expensive to run, where as the more expensive printers are far cheaper to use and run which makes them a better buy in the long run..
