I'm refilling using the german method. I have read but am so confused on what and where to order needles and such. I like the idea of the squeeze bottle from howard electronics but then don't know where to get the needles what size, gauge and length. Also where is the best place to order this in the US? thanks

Hobbicolors does not ship sharp needles. I asked about it when ordering, and they said they ship 21 gauge blunt needles. I don't know about precisioncolors.
On another note, does any one know a way for me to get 50mm-ish sharp needles in Australia? I had a look on the alotofthings.com website, and they don't ship internationally.

I'm pretty sure there's a member on here who has refill stuff with needles, that he can ship internationally... Now who was it???

*subtly points at self*...

Darn... I still can't remember.. must be the beer I had last night... ;)

*and so a New Years resolution not to spam forums fades as quickly as it started*
Please don't spank me too hard Rob... :D :D

Woops I forgot about Octoinkjet because there is not a large link to Octoinkjet over at the CIS forum yet.

*Pens reminder to self that Ron obviously needs more kickbacks* ;)

Martin the longest needle I see at Octoinkjet is the 21 gauge that is 2 inches long?
Yeah.. I've looked to see if longer are available but not had much luck. TBH I'm not convinced that longer than 2" is required for Durschtich method but I would love to get my hands on some of the blunt ones that are 3" plus for a few other things.

Any Canadians here??

Does anyone know any suppliers in Canada for 2" or longer needles? :p
Locally 1.5" is the maximum length I can find.

Dollarama sells refill kits for 1.00, I use the needles for the German method AFTER I use the longest sewing needle I can find to make the channel.

If you want to order online, you can order from sellink.ca in their accessories section, and I might add their ink is decent too.
