External Ink Bottle For Cis

hi guys,
i got a cis for my r265 and it works fine. nut ink tanks are not large enough for me. can i make external ink tank for it myself. is there any guide for this?

It depends entirely on what kind of CIS system you are using... Pictures would help.

1. You have a spongeless buffer system in those cartridges which makes the kit and printer much more susceptible to pressure variances.

2. You do not want to increase the height of the ink level otherwise you could end up overpressuring the kit so think about a wider alternative rather than a taller one.

3. Overpressuring the system can create a syphon, ESPECIALLY if you fit a waste ink kit which, from previous experience means you end up with ink being drained out of your reservoirs and wasted.
