Erm... someone asked me about BCI-6 refilling

...and I made the mistake of looking up some historical references...

...in dusty archives...

...after fighting off things that looked a lot like dinosaurs!...

...and I realised how long I've been doing... *waves vaguely at all the printer stuff* ... this!

Should I return to my dusty crypt now or wait for the end times?

Most of my BCI-6’s have failed in one way or the other, (Just fell apart) now I am relying on new world (CLl-8’s), but I still have a few CLl-42’s in reserve to face the 21 century.. it’s not easy for us Neanderthal…

I wonder how many ink suppliers will stay the course with ! … Covid.. Brexit.. Tariffs… WW3… ? ? ?..

Well that's obviously a fake... I mean... there's no tape player, pencil for rewinding the tapes or a big old CRT tv screen. Flat screens were a dead giveaway...

I had the Lambda 8300 microcomputer which was a ZX81 clone. It used an audio cassette recorder for saving and loading programs. This was very unreliable.

If my ailing memory serves me right, my ZX81 had a memory module of 16KB, An astonishing value ,you know..

I have a still functional iP4000. CLI-8 cartridges can be used in stead of the BCI-6 cartridges, but if you want to replace a BCI-3e pigment cartridge with a PGI-5 cartridge a slight modification is needed.

I wonder how many BCI-3/6 printers have survived till today?
