I'm hoping someone can help. I have an Epson 3800 with has the infamous back switch go bad. I opened it up and swapped out the switch with a new one. Previous to doing that, I swapped out all of the dampers. After swapping the dampers it printed all channel with the exception of Magenta. Since Magenta was also shared with the black, I thought it was time to replace the switch. When I put back together the nozzle check is totally blank. I did an initial fill via adjwiz and still nothing. I should add that I'm using Piezo Flush and the cartridges did go down after the initial fill.

Any ideas of what is wrong?

I got a an error 1601, which is the paper width sensor. When I had put the thing back together, I didn't tighten the ink lines enough and it sprayed ink everywhere. The PS sensor must have gotten covered. So it's not finding paper to print on. The maintenance manual say to replace it, but I'm thinking that I might try cleaning it first.

Has anyone tried cleaning it? If so, with what?
