Epson 15000 Ecotank ink (102)

The Ecotank I have uses 102 bottles

There's tons of 104 available on FB mp near me ...is there a way I can use the 104 in my Ecotank thanks

No ,most likely not - there could be a difference with the black inks - pigment vs. dye inks, the Epson pigment black is only active via the driver for normal/matte papers. The other inks may deliver the same color tone and saturation but not the same longevity/long term stability/UV resistance.

These inks are not compatible
How do you know - did you do any tests with those ? The keyed top of the bottle would prevent direct use on another printer, but you can swap these bottle heads. And the other question has been addressed as well -- dye vs. pigment black .

I believe EPSON official website.
There is no need to conduct tests for this.
Inks 102 and 104 are designed for different printers.
The keys in the bottles are made specifically so that they cannot be used in printers that are INCOMPATIBLE with this ink.For the average user this is enough.

Sorry, but I have swapped dye Ecotank inks between printers without problems at all .

Well, I think the average user won't get lost in this forum. If we all believed what the marketing departments of large companies claim, or accepted that a saturated sponge can only be repaired at the factory, at a cost that makes buying a new printer more attractive, then this forum would be obsolete.
Fortunately, most users here have a different view of things than you.
