epson 1200

i was asked to refill an epson 1200, but i know nothing about the epsons how is this one for refilling

I think they can be refilled directly through the exit port with a common syringe without a needle.
They use two carts. One for Black and one compbiantion 5 color single cart.
If they do not use a chip then that is all you need to do. If they do, then you will need a resetter.
How much ink per color? Don't know

hmmmm i may have to point them to a newer printer

Good idea. That is an old printer and really not worth the effort.
