In preparation to "convert" some oem carts to different colors, I itend to purge several yellow carts.

The drying time for the sponge can take a LONG time through the vent...anybody every try it in a microwave oven??

Try placing them under inverted light bulb (like with goose neck table lamp).
Not too near the bulb though. Still takes days to dry! Regards

Vacuum chamber will work (like a Vac-u-Vin system). I would recommend to use my special conditioning solution to impregnate the sponge prior to mouth blowing as much as possible liquid from the cartridge. It helps to improve the penetration degree of your ink significantly.

Since I keep my computer running 24/7 placing them inside the case dries them in a couple days.

I put a little alcohol in mine and then leave them beside a heater for a day. That works for me..
