Printing parts, and occasionally designing parts myself to improve my Anet A8 is what I've enjoyed most. I think that enjoyment has been worth a lot more than 99 cents to me.

TOTALLY! I swear, I think 90% of my printing is stuff to augment my printer / printing! :D

Actually that strain relief part was desiged by a hobbyist and Creality asked him could they use it for their machines. After he agreed they sent him a printer as a thank you gift ;)
Somehow, I don't think Anet would do this.

I received my kit yesterday!

I'll be honest, I'm debating if I'll be using any of this. I already printed the wire strain relief when I first got my printer (actually before I got it), and since my extruder, etc. are working just fine, I'm inclined to not mess with it. "If it ain't broke... don't fix it." (at least in this case, I probably won't)

Update. I decided to fit my new "upgrade" as I wanted to calibrate the extruder and thought I might as well put the new bits on. Took about 10 mins to fit and the lever is now longer making it easier to hold open when threading filament in or out. Also there is a nice clip on it to hold the hotend cable loom

Best 99c investment yet :)
