CISS help. HP OFFICEJET 8600.

I just bought a CISS system for my Officejet 8600. The problem is, there was no instructions for the CISS. Having never filled one of these before, I'm at a loss.

Do the cartridges need to be completely full?

There is a plug on the cartridge. Does it need to be installed or left open?

When I installed the cartridges, the printer says the cartridges are empty. All of them.


Thanks for any and all help. It's probably something simple that I'm missing.

link or photo of the cartriges?

did they come with Chips attached?

what kind of ink are you using...
if the ink flow is not perissent you may already damaged your printhead (total economic damage)
