Hi, I had to get a new HD installed on my computer and the computer was out of commission for a bit (2 weeks) and now my printer doesn't seem to be working. When the computer prints there is nothing on the paper. I don't get error messages or anything like that.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling printer. Checked for drivers. Did deep cleaning 3x.
Tried the reset that was suggested here.

I know it was covered here about cleaning the print head.

Here is my very dumb question-

Where is the print head? I assume it's the container that holds the ink tanks, right?
Do I soak the entire holder or is there a specific area I should try to clean.

Taking the what I guess is the print head out of the computer, the ink tanks are facing me. on back is a green plate, on the bottom is a silver plate. Should I remove the ink tanks? What area do I clean?

Thanks for any help.
Carol
