Canon Pro 200 to be used with pigment inks?

As the title stated, can I use pigment inks for Canon Pro 200? Please share your knowledge and experience.

Very bad idea IMHO. The Canon Pro-200 uses dye inks. Pigments can damage permanently a printhead designed for dye inks.
That doesn't means that the printer will literally explode as soon as you put pigmented inks into the carts. You'll maybe get good prints for a while but, in all likelihood, you'd get progressive and irreversible clogs or burned nozzles after a few weeks or even days.
Feel free to experiment if you have a few spare printheads at hand..;)

In my opinion, don’t do it, it’s a waste of time, a print head and cartridges.

Anyway why would you do this, because it seems you already have a Pro 300.. !
