Canon pro 100

Hi am a complete newbie, i have read the post on the pro 100, refilling is new to me but given the advise posted am :)really considering buying one i live in the UK and they are cheaper to buy in the US and ship than in the UK. How do i know if the plug and wattage would be compatible for UK use. love the site great advise.

Yes you can pick up a Pro 100 very very cheap over the pond but there are other things that you might want to consider also.

Theres the Customs charges, Excise Duty, VAT, Inspections, handling and any other charge that they can think of to slap on you,
if you import through a business then youd be home free, otherwise these charges will apply.

The electrical connection is the same only the plug end will have to be changed
the power transformer inside the printer will take both 110/ 240 V.

The US use a different chip on their cartridges than the EU so youll have to do a bit of chip swapping to get around that one,
the only good news is that the Pro 100 can use the Pixma 9000 CLI-8 cartridges.
