i was using (very old) Canon Pixma iP1500 since my undergraduate 2004. it finally died yesterday, therefore, it is time to get a new printer.
i still have 1xBlack, 3xColour bottles of inks left. they are about 70ml each of them.
i am currently post-graduate student, don't have much budget, therefore, economic is my first priority.
i need a printer to print my assignment quite frequently, about 100 pages per month. having own printer definitely save me a lot troubles to go and print them at university library printing service.
i searched thought the internet, basically i have these 2 models that match my budget and need. -i just need simple printing (black and white most of the time) and price below USD60.
Canon PIXMA MP198 vs Dell V313 All-in-One Printer
1) Dell actually selling V313 All-in-One Printer for USD$90, i got this student price from the dealer. do this mean V313 All-in-One Printer is higher than Canon MP198?
2) which one is better for ink refill? the original cartridge is too much expensive, definitely need refilling as i am a budget student.
3) do my leftover canon inks fit the dell printer also? or i need to buy ink that specifically for Dell printer?
