After 13 (yes 13) years, my Canon MB5120 just died (print head no longer works). I bought a new one---I love this printer. But there is a full set of new Canon cartridges in my old (dead) one. I want to get them out. The official answer is that there is no way to eject an ink cartridge unless the printer senses it is empty...so I'm SOL. Is there any way, short of disassembling the printer, that I can eject or otherwise remove the cartridges?
