Canon iP4850 vs Canon iP4950. Quick answer if possible.

Is there any significant difference between the ip4850 and the ip4950? I'm thinking in particular of -

They use the same inks?
They have CD printing?
Use same printhead?
Same quality?

I can have chance to get a new ip4950 cheap. Would use it to backup up my venerable ip4850, obviously would be very useful if it was basically the same but newer!

If you have a chance to pick up a 4950 cheap then jump at it, it is almost the same printer as the 4850 and it would be good as you say to have two of everything spare, so you basically you've answered you own question, a good buy !
