canon IP4500 vs the MP980, quality and durability opinions ?

trying to decide which canon to keep vs resell, IP4500 vs the MP980. not quite apples to apples but need some opinions.

i am aware of the differences in cartridge model/size and the 5 cartridges vs 6 cartridges. was looking for some opinions on printer quality, durability, etc.

i picked up a few refurbished MP980's that i may be looking to sell, part out or both.

have plenty of backup printers, my attic would prefer not to "keep all of them"

Method: German Durchstich Method
Ink: Hobbicolors
Misc: Squeeze bottles - so much easier than syringes

The ip4500 has a higher quality construction, higher capacity cartridges, and wastes less ink than the MP980. B&W photos SHOULD be a bit nicer on the MP980 due to the gray ink. Color photos should be almost exactly the same on both.

You also have to ask yourself how much the copier/scanner are worth to you.

If I didn't care about the scanner/copier I would be more inclined to keep the iP4500.
