Bidirectional print out does not align correctly...

I'm trying to print an A3 image of an aircraft camouflage pattern to make paint masks.
I use MS Word to import a scanned .jpg then scale it up to the correct size and print.

If anyone has any idea what is going wrong (or what I am doing wrong) I will be grateful for comments.

The printer is a Canon iX6850, I am running MS Office Pro Plus 2016 on a Windows 10 pro platform, and I believe that everything is up-to-date...

It looks to me like there are problems with both a dirty timing strip and clogged magenta nozzles. Could you please upload scans or photos of a nozzle check and a text document like the Windows printer test page?
