Ok... so perhaps "going begging" is a bit misleading but I have a school contact who has discovered that they have 14 BCI-6BK cartridges that are sealed and still contain the OEM ink so I've been asked to see if there's any interest.

Obviously it's a school and money is tight so if anyone figures this is worth putting out for sale and/or is willing to offer a reasonable recompense for them they'll consider all offers.

I'm just the middle man btw...

Cheers,

Martin

Sounds like they only ever printed on plain paper. Do they still use the printers that those carts were used with? If so, they could make use of them by telling the printer that the paper type is matte, even if it is plain.

They ordered them in ages ago and obviously didn't use them... Printers have all gone that would have taken them so there's no way of running them down for the school.

Not sure which printers use them but if anyone is interested let me know...

Most of my printers use the BCI-6Bk but I do have a few printers that use chipped cartridges. I have many dozen of the BCI-6Bk cartridges, some empty, some refilled, some OEM. They get used the least of any cartridge. I'm starting to turn some of my empties into Staples for $2 reward. If you had Staples across the pond, it would be obvious what to do with them.

Don't think our local Staples has any interest in the environment or paying anyone to return carts!

Neve seen any cartridge return boxes or adverts for such a scheme but I could be wrong.

This is Rip Off Britain where a gallon of "Gas" costs around 8 USD, or more in some areas :(
