We've been working for a while to get the forum software updated with a bunch of new features. Many are behind the scenes, but a bunch are ones you'll notice. I don't know that I can list all of them here right now (it's very late), but here are a few big ones:

1) True "mark as read" functionality. After you read a post, it won't show as "new"
2) Private Messages - If you have over 5 posts you'll be able to send Private Messages to other members.
3) Polls - create polls with questions
... and a bunch more.

Mostly, if you notice any problems, errors, etc. please reply with:

Did you receive any error messages (if yes, what were they)?
What exactly did you do before / after the problem happened?
What is the URL of the page where you had the problem?
Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
Have you logged out, deleted your internet cache, logged back in, and tried again?

Cheers!

You may need to force your browser to refresh the style sheets for the site. Try doing CTRL+F5 and see if that helps.

If that doesn't help, can you email me a screenshot of what you're seeing? I'm on the same OS and browser and don't have problems.

I too am having trouble with the new lay out that websnail reported.
Also in your admin section some of your posts have the last line parsley omitted.

Win 7. 64.
Explorer 8. 32bit.

Like the PM capability. Will look out for a list of the other Easter egg upgrades as time goes on. Thanks for the upgrades.

I also have the "G Index" issue as websnail and The Hat noted. Ditto for pharmacist's observation on topic visit counter. Refresh does not fix. Have not tried delete temp internet files or cookies yet.

Windows XP3
Firefox 3.6.X

The "G Index" problem appears related to how many total pages the thread has. If 10 total pages, no problem. If 11 total pages in the thread then "Go" and "Index are separate words but when my cursor touched "Index" there was bleeding of the gray "Go" button over the first part of the word "Index". I did not find threads with 12-16 pages in length, but a 17 page thread exhibited the issue "G Index" problem.

Coding issues are a PITA.

Ok guys, the world's best programmer that is helping me with all this has hopefully fixed the "G Index" problem.

Please force refresh the forum (CTRL+F5) and if that doesn't work, clear your browser cache files. If those both don't work, reply with your OS & Browser version.

Thanks!

CTRL-F5 resolved the "G Index" issue for me. Did not have to clear cache or cookies. Nice job to whomever.
