After deep cleaning, other options?

I have a Canon PIXMA MX860 and the magenta cartridge is full of ink, but not printing. I tried cleaning twice and deep cleaning twice. Printing after the cleaning, the first Magenta bar prints with white horizontal bars and the next two Magenta Bars do not print at all. Are there any other options short of replacing the cartridge? The red light shows when the cartridge is inserted.

What type of magenta cartridge are you using and are you refilling, you could also post a nozzle check on the thread so we can see the problem and try to help you.. :)

I am using a refillable cartridge from DatatekUSA (CCPGI-220/CLI-221 Magenta).
No holes to drill.
Remove the plug and inject ink.
Chip automatically resets to Full after each refill.

I've had a problem trying to upload the nozzle check. I scanned the printout and saved first as a pdf file and then as a jpeg/exif, but neither would appear as I tried to upload. The nozzle check was correct in all respects except for the three magenta bars. The top one had white streaks going through it and the bottom two did not print at all.

The reason I asked about the cartridge was that can be where you problems might be hiding.
Try up loading your print out again, PDF and JPEGs are not accepted so try saving your PDF as a PNG and that will work for you, dont convert the JPEG.. :)

You should also get a new oem cartridge so you can truly isolate the problem. If the new oem one works then you know it's a flow issue with your current cartridge. If it still doesn't work with a new oem them you know something is up with the printer or print head.

It sounds like your magenta print head is clogged. It is a good idea to switch back to OEM cartridge but it may be already too late. It will be some effort to unclog it if it can be unclogged still.
