There are quite a lot of elaborate gadgets and ways to purge you cartridge but this one is a simpler way.
This gadget can be made up relatively easy and youll only need two for all of your cartridges,
one big, one small and it wont put a hole in your pocket.
Its made up from a needle with the steel shaft removed and a 3rd party orange compatible clip with the end cut off it.
Just make a hole in the bottom of the orange clip big enough to fit the plastic needle tip into it without any of it protruding out the inside.
I placed a metal washer around to give it a bit of strength and to hold the Araldite in place till it dried hard in (24 hours).
With this gadget you can fill a syringe, the larger the better (60 ml) with water and inject it into the outlet of your cartridge
and after a number of times your cartridge will be completely clear of unwanted ink.
You can also do this with just air inside the syringe to remove some of the remaining water.
