Thanks for the lead on Image Specialists but they do not supply inks for this printer either.
I can't refill any cartridges as they are unusable even after refilling.

No one makes compatible ink for this printer. At least I haven't found one. You have to buy actual canon cartridges, and the printer uses more than half the cartridge during cleanings. My money goes straight from the ink cartridge to the waste cartridge. I hate it. No laughing here.
