Believe me, I searched.... So far I have not found the solution. I have talked to Adobe for several hours - no solution. The links provided do not show how to turn off the profiling in printer driver when printing from InDesign.

Thanks The Hat. But my problem is not to turn off the color profile in Indesign, but to turn it off in the Printer Driver - the option that you have on PC but I do not on Mac - as it seems.

@The Hat, Could you explain that a bit, please? I have a Pro 10. I thought that Canon pigment printers clog more as the ink particles are bigger. And even the head cleaning cycles happen more often on Pro-10 than Pro-100 (60/120 vs 120/240 or so...). Thanks.

Artur5, thanks for the tip. Yes, in the end I was able to print on that Canson paper, after I disabled the paper detection and used 13x19 art paper with 30mm boarder size. Just needed to make a layout adjustment in PS to accommodate for that. :ya

It works with matte paper settings. But I do want to print in art paper setting in custom 12 x 18 in size using OEM inks. Don't want to swap cartridges. I'm fine with the 30mm boarder. Looks like this is not possible though - not with custom paper size.

I did set it up to 12 x 18 in Photoshop / File / Page setup. Did not help. To just give you some more info - the original PSD document initially had a different size. Even then I was able to print it out without any problem on Pro-10. As long as I selected matte paper (no 30mm boarder needed)...
