Thank you for your advices, I'll try it with the next photos.
There's something else I'd like to ask. On Epson's Italian website the maximum paper weight the ET 7750 can handle is 300 gsm. Is there any tolerance in that specific? For example I've found some baryta paper which is 310 gsm, do you...
Thank you @The Hat for your tutorial! Some settings in the driver were different but overall I were able to follow it!
I've got some updates, I've made a few tests and think I now get what's going on.
The problem lies in the "borderless" option in the driver. When I check it, I can then choose...
Ok so I will create a thread specifically about this problem with more detailed info, so hopefully someone will be able to help me and someone else facing the same problem!
Oh and I will use that test image you provided as soon as I get home! Do you think I can print on standard paper (maybe just thicker) using photo paper settings? So that I can print borderless but don't waste paper for these tests.
I understand that how you place the image depends on the software, but the problem is that the result is not what I see in my software (and in the print preview).
For example, I've printed a panoramic photo and set the margins to 4mm left and 4mm right, centered vertically. The result is 1-2mm...
Hi! I finally got the printer and started using it. The first couple of prints i made were full page borderless and I thought they came out good. Then I tried to print an image with some margins from the Lightroom print module but the margins were not what I expected. On the left the margin was...
This is the picture of my first print made with my first printer! I've been waiting a lot for it, watching videos on how to print properly, so when I could do it myself I was quite excited! The picture I printed is a long exposure I took a few weeks ago in a natural reserve near my house, at...
Hi everyone! I'm writing to share with you a picture of my first print, made with my first printer!! I'm actually very excited about it!
I'm not sure this is the right place to write this thread, I hope so!
I know that I'll have to learn how to use it, there are lots of settings and I'll...
Hi Enzo, nice to meet you!
I haven't bought it yet, I will do it next week (it's my birthday, so I'll get it as a present ;)). I'll be happy to help you out when I get it!
That's true unfortunately, it's really hard to find Italian people that like to print seriously. And it's even hard to find...
Of course I will first experiment with what the printer is capable of. I'd be interested in doing more just in case I wasn't satisfied with the results, but I'll probably ask someone with more experience (the people on this forum) before mixing all the settings.
Thank you a lot for your advices!!
Ink stained Fingers thank you very much, you clarified all my doubts. I'll go for the ET-7750. I'm really looking forward to starting printing. I'll share with you the results of my first print!
The Hat, what do you mean by "let the printer handle the colour"?
Anyway, I'll enjoy it for sure!!
Printer handling is not a great concern for me, I will not be printing large amounts of photos, probably a few a week (10-20), thus I can just put the paper in the rear bin.
I've now looked at the L1800, it was not present on the Italian Epson website. It looks like a great printer. What would...
Hi stratman!
Thank you very much, I wanted to express the kind of photography I love. That picture was taken right after dawn in a recent trip to Iceland!
I'm sure this forum will help me a lot, I find printing so fascinating, and I love learning about experiments and things that can be done...
Hi, thank you very much for all these information!
I'm new to this forum and I'm actually new to printing. I am a student and an amateur photographer and I want to buy a printer for my photos. The ET 7750 is currently my choice because the low running costs would allow me to print more photos...
Hello everyone, I'm Francesco from Italy! I'm an engineering student and my favourite hobby is photography. In the last few years I've invested money and time in it and I'm really enjoying it. I want to take it to the final step and start printing my images. But I want to understand what I do...
