Today windows decided to auto update again & guess what the printer's not working again, is there a way to temporarily stop auto updates in Windows 10 so I can keep my printer working & uninstall this update again until they have fixed the suspect version?
I uninstalled the latest Windows update, took ages, but low & behold my printer is working again, updates not always a good thing eh, if it works chuffin leave it alone! ;-)

Is there anything I can check for in the Windows print settings that would cause any problems, just in case windows has changed one little parameter somewhere?
no messages when tried to reinstall driver apart from you have the best one already installed (but did uninstall & reinstall anyway which went smoothly)), not aware of any recent different updates as Win 10 doesn't seem to tell you anything about them these days, there was a update a few days...
Yes, have done that as well, uninstalled printer, reinstalled , checked for updated driver again, correct printer is showing with a nice green tick on it
