Just got back to this thread today. Appreciate the rest of the advise. I sold the 7610 and saving my money for the the 1430 or15000, esp since I have lots of left over Epson paper from my 1400. Have a new post about the difference in the ink between the two printers. Thanks again for all your...
I have read statements about this new ink, supposedly expanding gamut, but I have not really heard anyone testing it against the regular Claria ink..I am on the brink of either buying a Epson 1430 at a lower price, and using the" Claria hi-definition" or the 15000 using the Claria "photo" hi-...
Thanks for your reply. I only got the 7610 as I it was a great deal and I could not afford the 1430, and thought that the pigment inks, even though they are only 4 carts, vs 6 carts would do a reasonable job for high quality photo printing, esp in 13" format size. Would I have been better off to...

Thank you both for your extensive thoughts. I am not sure there are "cracks" as when I set the printer to "fine" instead of normal all the problems go away. I appreciate the caution not to use syringe/tube technique, and use the infused towel. Do you think using 50% windex with 50% of 90%...
Hello,
I have a 1400 Epson, which has a black nozzle clog. There are two ways to clean it, maybe more, but the more popular ones are, syringe with tube pushing alcohol+windex(generic) or carts you fill with cleaning fluid and place them in place, and do a head cleaning. Which, in your experience...
